Lesson One Hundred Fifty: Lines and Points


As you can easily imagine, it is easy to draw a line between any two points on a coordinate grid. These lines can be horizontal, vertical, or horizontal as shown in the illustration.

The coordinate grid to the left contains four line segments.

Two are vertical:

  • green: (-3,1) to (-3,-5)
  • purple: (8,-1) to (8,-9)
One horizontal:
  • blue: (3,4) to (9,4)
One diagonal:
  • orange: (-8,3) to (-2,8)
