Arithmetic Grade Six

Lesson One Hundred Forty: Concentration

Developing a good memory is important. One way to develop a good memory is to do tasks which require you to remember things. Concentration is a task which exercises your memory. It also exercises your ability to compute basic facts when it involves finding equations with matching values. This version of concentration involves finding matching answers for multiplication and division problems like these:

	10 ÷ 2 = 5 5 x 5 = 25

	3 x 9 = 27 24 ÷ 3 = 8

	4 x 7 = 28 54 ÷ 9 = 6

	30 ÷ 6 = 5 3 x 6 = 18

Not only must you solve little equations, but you must keep track of their locations!
