Lesson One Hundred Twenty-two: Word Sum

Word Sum is a multistep problem involving two major steps: 


  1) Translate letters into numeric values.
  2) Find the sum of the values.
Here's another example for you to consider: 

  WORD: CAT

  TRANSLATE:

	C = 3
	A = 1
	T = 20
      ----------

  ADD:      24
