Lesson One Hundred Seventy-nine: Temperature Conversions

Basic Conversion Formulas:

    Celcius to Fahrenheit --> (Cx9/5)+32
    Fahrenheit to Celcius --> (F-32)*5/9

Here are a few examples showing how to convert from Fahrenheit to Celcius:

  Temperature: 60° F

  CONVERT TO CELCIUS (substitute 60 for F in formula):

	(60 - 32) * 5 ÷ 9 =
 	       28 * 5 ÷ 9 = 15.56

  ANSWER: 15.56 ° C

  Temperature: 32° F

  CONVERT TO CELCIUS (substitute 32 for F in formula):

	(32 - 32) * 5 ÷ 9 =
 	       0 * 5 ÷ 9 = 0

  ANSWER: 0 ° C

  Temperature: 100° F

  CONVERT TO CELCIUS (substitute 100 for F in formula):

	(100 - 32) * 5 ÷ 9 =
 	       68 * 5 ÷ 9 = 37.78

  ANSWER: 37.78 ° C
