Lesson One Hundred Sixty-five: X Problems One



You probably recall what X Problems look like:


	

The rule is that you add the two side numbers to get the top number and you multiply the two side numbers to get the bottom number and so this solution will fill out the X Problem grid correctly:

	

When you are missing the right and the bottom slots of the grid you must first subtract the left number from the top number to get the number which goes on the right. Once you have the number on the right, you just multiply the right and the left number and you have the problem finished.

	

STEP ONE: 13 - 5 = 8
STEP TWO: 8 * 5 = 40
