Study this problem and see if you can figure out what to do with it: 


	5y - 6 = 29
Translated into English this problem asks the following question: 

	What number multiplied by five produces a product which is
      six more than twenty-nine?
Think about that question. First of all, what number is six more than twenty-nine? (ANSWER: 29 + 6 = 35) Secondly, what number when multiplied by five produces a product of thirty-five? (ANSWER: 5 x 7 = 35)

Here's another problem for you to consider: 


	4n + 2 = 22

	ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
	  What number multiplied by four produces a product
	 which is two less than twenty-two?

	ANSWER: 
	  STEP ONE: 22 - 2 = 20
	  STEP TWO: 4 * 5 = 20
	
	So, our answer is 5.
Here's one more for you to study: 

	5z - 10 = 35

	ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
	  What number multiplied by five produces a product
	 which is ten more than thirty-five?

	ANSWER:
	  STEP ONE: 35 + 10 = 45
	  STEP TWO: 5 x 9 = 45

	So, our answer is 9.
