Lesson Nine: Subtraction Review
Look at this subtraction problem:
When you borrow from the tens column, you leave a 7. Most people when doing
this one paper cross out the 8 and write a little 7 above it. Adding the
tens just borrowed to the 1 in the ones column gives us 11. Most people
cross out the 1 and write an 11 above it.
