Lesson Thirty-two: Converting Minutes and Hours

As you know, there are 60 minutes in an hour. If you can count by 60, then you can figure out how many minutes there are in any given number of hours. 


	HOURS		MINUTES
	  1		  60
	  2		 120
	  3		 180
	  4		 240
	  5		 300
	  6		 360
	  7		 420
	  8		 480
	  9		 540
Given this information it should be real easy to answer the following question: 

	How many minutes are there in four hours?
To find this answer all you have to do is multiply 4 and 60. 

	4 x 60 = 240
Here's another example: 

	How many minutes are there in ten hours?
To find this answer all you have to do is multiply 10 and 60. 

	10 x 60 = 600
