Lesson Twenty-eight: Number Chains

The parentheses can be used in many different places in a sequence. 


	(37 - 12) + (14 + 30) - (45 - 30) =
Solving inside the parentheses first we get the following simplified problem: 

	25 + 44 - 15 =
Here's another problem: 

	45 - (19 + 24) + (11 - 6) =
Again, we solve inside the parentheses before going any further: 

	45 - 43 + 5 =
