DATA: Red balls: 6 Green balls: 11 Blue balls: 3 QUESTION: What percent of the balls are red? ANALYSIS: Since there are twenty balls in all, we know that six out of the twenty balls are red. The fraction 6/20 equals .3 which equals 30%. ANSWER: 30%
