the numerator. Write this amount over the denominator.

	2 * 4 + 3 = 11

	ANSWER 11/4

Here's another example:

	IMPROPER FRACTION: 3 2/5

	CALCULATION: 3 * 5 + 2 = 17

	MIXED NUMBER: 17/5

Here's yet another example:

	IMPROPER FRACTION 4 1/2

	CALCULATION: 4 * 2 + 1 = 9
