Lesson Twenty-six: Subtraction Problems
Think about this sample problem:
Remember the steps we take when doing this kind of problem:
- Borrow from the tens column (cross out 5, write a 4 by it, and write a 1
in front of the 7)
- Subtract the ones column (17 - 8 = 9)
- Subtract the tens column (4 - 3 = 1)

your work and then type in the answer.
