Lesson One hundred and nineteen: Mixed to Decimals

You will get some more practice converting mixed numbers to decimal values in this lesson. First of all, let's start by inspecting the following examples: 


    2  1/4    =  2.25			3  1/20  =  3.05

    3  1/25   =  3.04			4  3/25  =  4.12

    1  11/20  =  1.55			1  11/25 =  1.44
You can figure these out for yourself by finding equivalent fractions with 10 in the denominator, like this: 

     2  11/20  =  2  55/100   =  2.55

     3  11/25  =  3  44/100   =  3.44
