Lesson Eighty-five: Subtracting Fractions

• Numerator: Just add the top numbers.
• Denominator: Leave the bottom numbers alone.
• Reduce, if necessary.

Here are a few more examples:

    6/7 - 3/7 = 3/7			7/9 - 6/9 = 1/9

    6/18 - 3/18 = 3/18 = 1/6 		5/7 - 4/7 = 1/7

Now you get to try a few for yourself. (Remember to reduce, if necessary.)
