Lesson Seventy-one: Comparing Statements

Comparing Statements

There are symbols which can be used to compare two statements:

  > GREATER THAN
  < LESS THAN
  = EQUAL

Here are some examples showing how these symbols can be used:

   4 x 9 > 3 x 2 4 x 2 < 8 x 3

   3 x 10 = 5 x 6 4 x 9 > 2 x 9

Figure out the answer to each of the following:

	5 x 3 (>) 4 x 3

	4 x 2 (<) 5 x 6

	6 x 3 (=) 2 x 9

	5 x 9 (>) 8 x 2
