Lesson Six: Double the Number

Double the Number 
  
  DOUBLE 3:

	3 + 3 = 6




  DOUBLE 7: 

	7 + 7 = 14




  DOUBLE 1:

	1 + 1 = 2
NOTE: Have the student list all the doubles for the numbers one through ten. After the student has completed the list, ask the student if any of the doubles are odd numbers. Have the student speculate as to why none of the doubles are odd.
