RULE: If the sum of the digits in the ONE's column is greater than 9, then you MUST regroup!

ANSWERS: A) YES, B) NO, C) YES

NOTE: Make more problems like these for the student. Have the student identify which require regrouping and which don't. Have the student solve a few of these problems.
