	Doug has 3 grapes.
	Bill has 2 grapes.
	Who has the most grapes?


ANSWER: Doug
Another robot story problem:

	How many more grapes does Doug have?


To find the answer: 3 - 2 =
ANSWER: 1

	Jill has 4 toy cars.
	Mary has 3 toy cars.
	How many more toy cars does Jill have?


To find the answer: 4 - 3 =
ANSWER: 1

NOTE: Read these problems with the student. Have the student answer the problems. Make up a few more problems like these and have the student answer each problem. You may need to help the student read the problems in the activity part of this lesson.
