Conjunctions

Conjunctions join two sentence parts. These are the three most commonly used conjunctions:


	and			or			but

Here are some sentences containing conjuctions.

  Jill has a cold and she doesn't feel like going out.

  Jack is going to go to the movies if he can get some money.

  Jane and Jasper are going to go for a walk or play in the park.

  Jed wants to go to a restaurant because he is hungry.

  Jeff wants to go, but he doesn't have any money.
