Word Families
Given a word such as "gather", we can generate a word family:
gather
gathers
gathered
gathering
A word family is just all the forms of a word which contain the same
(unaltered) root word. (In some places this definition may be changed to
allow altered versions of the root word, but in this lesson we stick to
unaltered versions of the root word.)
