Nouns and Verbs
There can be many nouns and many verbs in a single sentence. Consider the
following sentence:
Jill ran to the stream, jumped in the water, and crossed to the other side.
Here are the nouns and verbs used in that sentence:
NOUNS: Jill, stream, water, side
VERBS: ran, jumped, crossed
Here's another example;
Jill woke up, put on her clothes, ate breakfast, and walked to the park.
Here are the nouns and verbs used in that sentence:
NOUNS: Jill, clothes, breakfast, park
VERBS: woke up, put, ate, walked
