Letter Patterns

This unit contains several words which contain the -rm letter pattern: 


	worm			ferment			firm

	swarm			storm
Another letter pattern which appears three times in this unit is the -fy letter pattern: 

	clarify			identify		classify
Additionally, two other words end with a y: boundary and category.

Palindromes

Palindromes are patterns of letters and/or numbers which read the same way backwards as they do forwards. Here are some word palindromes: 


	noon			non			racecar

	level			kayak			eve

	radar			madam			rotator
Phrases can also form palindromes. In the case of phrases spaces, capitalization, and punctuation are ignored. 

	Live not on evil		Dumb mud

	Evil rats on no star live	Evil Olive

	Put Eliot's toilet up		No lemon, no melon
