Order Words

Time words help us keep track of when event occurs. Here are some sample time words:

	today yesterday morning

	afternoon	Friday summer

a year ago	three months after breakfast

Some time and order words are especially useful for giving directions.

Jill made herself a sandwich for lunch today. First she
got herself some bread, peanut butter, jelly, a knife, and
a spoon. Next she spread some peanut butter on a slice
of bread. Then she put a lot of jelly on top of the peanut
butter. Finally she put another slice of bread on top of
the jelly and before she ate the sandwich she cut it in half.

Here's another sample paragraph:

Jill has many chores she must do in the morning.
First she has to make sure the front porch is neat
and clean. Second she has to pick up any things that
are out of place in the livingroom. Finally, before
she can have breakfast, she has to clean the windshield
	of the family car.
