Adverbs
Adverbs can be created from adjectives by adding -ly. Here are some
examples.
ADJECTIVE ADVERB
rapid rapidly
sudden suddenly
quick quickly
forceful forcefully
sweet sweetly
gentle gently
Not all adverbs end in -ly. Here are some examples: very, far, too, and
always.
