Prepositions

Prepositions help to explain the relationship between words in a sentence. Here are a few examples (with the prepositions underlined).


  Bob threw the keys onto the table.

  Sue ate all the carrots in the house.

  They all gathered near the pond.
                                                                               

Proper Nouns

Proper nouns always start with a capital letter. They still name specific persons, places, or things. Here are a few examples:


  Canada		Wally World		Abraham Lincoln

  Nevada		Mount Whitney		Death Valley

  Dr. Bobbins		Borah Peak		Reno
