Take a look at this sample sentence:
Joe popped the pop corn and then he ate it.
In this sentence you know that the pronoun he refers to Joe and the
pronoun it refers to the pop corn.
The Prefix -PRE
The pre- prefix means before or in advance. Here are a few words with the
-pre prefix.
prefer prevent predict
precaution prefabricate premature
prefix prehistoric presuppose
