Plural Nouns
There are some nouns for which there is no pluralization rule. Consider
these examples:
Singular Pluarl
mouse mice
louse lice
goose geese
deer deer
sheep sheep
tooth teeth
foot feet
You can see that there are certain patterns in the ways that some of these
words become plural, but there is no simple rule that you can apply and so
you just have to remember how to pluralize these words.
Here are a few sample sentences with some of these examples and some of the
spelling words for this unit.:
The sheep are jumping over the plants.
The chicken ran away from the mice.
She has quick feet.
