Next Teen
Mastering the numbers from eleven to nineteen takes some practice. In this
activity students are asked to identify what teen comes next at the end of a
sequence of numbers. Here are a couple example:
Once the student has mastered counting from one to twenty, this activity
should be doable. By way of review, here are the counting numbers from one
to twenty:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
NOTE: In the next applet students will identify the number which comes at
the end of the sequence. Practice counting with the student and write a few
sequences on a piece of paper and ask the student what number comes next.
